About

Reverend Ted Bradshaw

For the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to fountains of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.   (Revelation 7:17)

Keeping the Faith

2012.PicofDadTed Bradshaw is keeping the faith—faith in the one true God, Jesus Christ, the Savior of our world, the loving Shepherd, who out of love gave His life to save us all, everyone, from punishment for our own sins.

Ted is one of millions of people who have chosen to live life in the pursuit of all that God teaches us in the Holy Bible. I know this, because I am his daughter. I am witness to my father’s life of study, writing and teaching of what he learns from the Bible.

Ted joyfully chooses to be The Shepherd’s Fool.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.   (2 Timothy 4:7)

Running the Race

It’s a race, our lives, however long they last. We are running a relay race, one after each other, passing along a heritage. This is my heritage—the baton my father is passing. I feel the weight of the baton. I am the much loved and most blessed daughter of this amazing man, Ted Bradshaw.

In 1969, Ted Bradshaw met God as a young adult in a dramatic inner struggle. A man of his time, Ted was hardworking, married a few years, father of two young girls. He had graduated college, gotten married and a respectable job, bought a small house and attended church. He was living the typical life of his culture.

He found himself confronted with Love, the reality of Jesus, and fought the invitation to give over control of his own life to the God who loves him so desperately. God was there, is there every day, calling and inviting. Ted accepted the gift of Jesus love and leadership of his life. Since then, Ted is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Ted chooses each day, to accept the invitation to receive God’s ever present love, to learn more of His ways, His intentions for all good things.

For in my inner being I delight in God’s Law.    (Romans 7:22)

A Life of Bible Study

Ted has spent almost all of his adult life in the study of the beautiful Word of God. In 1970, Ted enrolled in Bangor Theological Seminary, and moved our family to Maine. He received his Master’s of Divinity, and became the pastor of two small churches in Alfred, Maine. We spent a total of six years in Maine, living through the seasons and small town politics. I have childhood memories filtered for only the beautiful sunshine, autumn leaves, puffy snows, and trudging through the backwoods. In 1976, Ted moved our family back to Seattle, Washington, leaving the employment of the ministry, but not the study of the Bible. Ted has continued to learn and share and write.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.   (Matthew 16:15)

Sharing Jesus with the World

Ted Bradshaw is a Theologian. He has spent his adult life seeking God. Ted has a passion for sharing the joy and freedom of receiving Jesus as your own Savior, and receiving His amazing gift of paying the price for our sins. It is my joy to take up the baton, and run my leg of the race. Doing what is my part, I get to start the process of making Ted’s journey with God accessible and available for sharing with everyone. His studies are recorded here to share far and wide, in the answer to the call.

I will feed My flock and I will lead them to rest, declares the Lord GOD.   (Ezekiel 34:15)

The World Needs Jesus

Ours is a world filled with the din of clamor to be in charge of itself. So much turmoil and discord. So many loud voices demanding their own way. Ted’s is a voice proclaiming the joy of choosing to let our Loving Father in Heaven be in control. Come and rest in the Lord’s love.

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.   (Psalm 23:1)
